When making training videos for a Safety Company, 2D design was often paired with rendered 3D imagery. I developed a style of icons and illustrations for simplified, easily-recognizable training points used throughout many lessons. Each image was produced in Adobe Illustrator as a flat design that simplifies complex images for easy recognition in the limited time afforded to a viewer within a training animation. The icons are primarily designed in grayscale with important components highlighted with a bright yellow in order to further draw upon the brand’s signature color scheme.
